Call for Papers

You are invited to submit academic and/or research articles for publication in the Clarep Journal of English and Linguistics (C-JEL), a publication of the Centre for Language Research and English Proficiency (CLAREP). The Journal publishes original papers from language, literature and linguistic fields.

The Centre for Language Research and English Proficiency [CLAREP] is an educational non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing language research in Africa and promoting the proficient use of language in all its spheres. Its mission is to foster excellence in language studies and research, benefitting scholars, educators, and language enthusiasts. It provides a platform for collaborative research and the mentoring of young academics.

Guide For Authors

  • All papers must be submitted in word format.
  • Paper must indicate the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), email address and phone number.
  • The paper should be between 5000 and 6000 words long.
  • Only papers that adhere to the 6th edition of APA style sheet will be accepted.
  • All papers must be typed with Times New Roman font with 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Every paper should have an abstract of not more than 250 words and 5 key words.
  • Contributors are to submit their papers either online or at clarep.org@gmail.com.
